Stokes Farm Barn – Clair & Clive
Stokes Farm Barn, is a family run wedding venue near Wokingham in the Berkshire countryside. The venue is fully licensed for civil ceremonies up to 130 guests indoors or 160 guests for outdoor weddings on the lawn. The barn dates from the Victorian era and is a fabulous space for your wedding day.
Clair got ready on-site in the all new purpose built and beautifully furnished prep room. While Carol covered the boys preps at the family home. Carol and I don’t have fixed roles when we shoot weddings together. We always mix things up and cover things in the most practical way possible. Sometimes I shoot the boys, sometimes Carol covers them. Sometimes if both bride and groom are getting ready at the same hotel for example, we might both cover a bit of both parties.
The couple were blessed with a perfect summers day. One of the best of last summer. Completely blue skies and the new borders of the track were full of wildflowers, which we took advantage of for some portraits later on. Drinks were held on the lawn, with most guests actually choosing the shade of the trees, it was a very hot day, I can’t blame them.
