Stephanie & Tim – Southdowns Manor

Tim and Stephanie were married last May at the lovely Southdowns Manor near Petersfield. They had a glorious day, bathed in sunshine, which was perfect for their outdoor ceremony and the drinks reception later. They were also lucky to have the opportunity for some sunset portraits, so we took a short walk down the road to capture these. They are always worth trying if the light is good, as that light is just magical.

The couple booked both of us to capture their day, which is always the optimum choice. The ability for us to be in two places at once is unbeatable. Plus we simply see different images, even if shooting the same thing. I was lucky to capture the superb confetti shot above for instance. Carol took a fabulous photo of the flower girl handing out the confetti, while another little boy pressed his nose up to the glass. I didn’t even see that happen at the time. This is why booking two photographers is never a bad idea. You are bound to get a bigger selection of final images.
