Hampton Court House Wedding

A few pics from Roanna & George’s February wedding at the beautiful Hampton Court House.

Roanna got ready at the lovely Mitre Hotel, right opposite Hampton Court Palace and a short drive to the venue. This is a fabulous room for bridal preps with lots of space and beautiful light provided by those three large windows. It’s also a nice place to have lunch, Carol and I popped in there recently after a visit to Hampton Court Palace.

The ceremony was in the stunning main hall with its amazing ornate ceiling and balcony. Photographically this is such a great room for ceremony pictures. There is a wall of light coming from the large windows all falling onto the couple and their guests. Perfect lighting conditions, I used to use a similar setup when I shot fashion many years ago.

Drinks were in the main hall too, after a quick turnaround, which happens when the couple and guests go outside for a confetti throw. With the wedding breakfast being served in the Great Dining Hall, leading onto the dancing and bar in the Conservatory.
