A short set of images form Jojo & Dave’s wedding, captured by award winning St Audries Park wedding photographers Carol & Paul. This was our first time shooting a wedding at St Audries Park in Somerset. What a lovely venue. Tucked away in the Quantock Hills, it provides a very unique and exclusive experience. It even has it’s own church which Jojo and Dave took advantage of for their wedding ceremony.
The main wedding venue parts of the large 100 acre estate are all within easy reach, the couple even walked from the church back to the main house after their ceremony, with the guests walking behind. Which made for a fabulous set of images, including the one above, which won a WPJ (wedding photojournalist) award recently. Jojo got ready in the Church Lodge, which is just a two minute walk to the church.
This was a wedding full of emotion and fun. I love the fact that Dave shed tears during the ceremony. At my own wedding last June, I cried like a baby the whole way through. Opening up and allowing your emotions to shine through is so important to a reportage wedding photographer. Because we can capture that emotion and seal it into a wedding photo that will last you a lifetime. Making your remember those feelings in many years to come.
