Froyle Park Wedding
Another fabulous wedding at Froyle Park in Hampshire. I love being a Froyle Park wedding photographer, because the venue works so well in images. It’s one of my local venues too, around 15 minutes drive from me, so all in all, it’s one of my favourite venues to work at.
This is Annie and Paul’s wedding last July. A wedding full of laughter. It was one of those weddings, where I wish I’d gotten to know a bit more about the couple and their families, because when I look back through the images you can feel the close relationship between them all. I love shooting weddings where the emotion and joy are so visible. It makes me smile just looking at the photos – so I’m sure it makes Annie and Paul smile even more when they look at their pictures.
The ceremony room works really well for my style of photography. I’m a natural light shooter. I rarely ever use a flash gun at a wedding, as I find it too intrusive. I don’t want guests being aware of me taking pictures if at all possible, so I much prefer using very quiet cameras and using the beauty of daylight. The huge windows at Froyle Park really help in that respect, giving fabulous window light – my favourite type of light. That makes for great ceremony pictures every time I shoot a ceremony there.
This was a ‘short hours’ booking – I offer short hours on weekday weddings, but normally only shoot full days at the weekends. The couple had booked me for eight hours as they weren’t interested in capturing the cake cutting and first dance – which is why the wedding ends on the speeches. Their wedding still made a great set of images.

Lovely story telling. Well done!
beautiful images that truly capture the day
So many great images Paul. Looks like a fun wedding :)
Sure was a fun one to shoot.
The eye contact the bride has with her groom during the ceremony is amazing, and the speeches look like a lot of fun. Brilliantly captured!
Yep, love that look on Annie’s face and the way her eye is framed by the grooms face.
Love those speech shots Paul
They were a lot of fun to shoot and edit. Just love it when people really let go and laugh out loud.
Brilliant stuff, loved looking through those! It’s what weddings are all about
