Old Thorns Manor Hotel, in Hampshire is always a great venue for us, because we live so close by. It is nestled in the Hampshire countryside about 10 minutes drive from our home in Headley, so we get to shoot a lot of weddings there. Luckily it’s a great venue to shoot at, especially the Hampshire Suite, which is a lovely set of rooms for smaller weddings. Sam and Lee both got ready at the hotel in the morning, which allowed us to cover not only Sam getting ready (always the most important bit) but also a few shots of Lee getting ready too.
This was a lovely sunny day in June this year. Great weather for shooting a wedding and a fun bunch of guests to capture. The best man’s speech was hilarious, one of the best we’ve ever heard. He managed to make Lee (our groom) squirm quite a few times. Perfect for great expressions for us to capture. Hair and Makeup was by our talented friend Hanna Wildman whose work is always simply superb. I can never recommend her highly enough and I’m sure Sam (our bride) would agree wholeheartedly. Good makeup will always make a bride feel amazing on their wedding day.
