Slaugham Place Wedding Photography

We spent a lovely day in July 2012 shooting Alex & Chris’s wedding. It was our first time as wedding photographers at Slaugham Place and it was a great experience. What a wonderful venue to work at, with so many interesting photographic opportunities. The main part of the venue is a ruin, literally. But that makes for a very atmospheric feel, but is most certainly a venue where you need reasonably good weather. The weather on the day did almost spoil things. It threatened to pour with rain according to the forecast, but we were very lucky and spent the whole day outside with only a little bit of spitting to bother the proceedings. We actually think that the umbrellas in some of the images actually add to the feel of the day. Here are some images of Slaugham Place and Alex’s bridal preparations at her parents home.
